- Infants – Children under 1 year of age are admitted free.
- Families – A Family FUN Pass includes up to six people living in the same household:
- One or two adults
- Four or five children under 18 years of age
- HST – Applicable to individuals aged 15 years and older.

Recreation Financial Assistance Program
This program supports access to City of Orillia recreation opportunities by helping reduce financial barriers. Through the program, eligible individuals and families may receive subsidized FUN Pass memberships, while eligible social service agencies may access subsidized All-Access Day Passes. Eligible Orillia residents receive a 70% discount on monthly FUN Pass Memberships.

Subsidized FUN Pass Memberships for Individuals and Families
Eligible Orillia residents can apply for subsidized FUN Pass memberships through this program. Applications are accepted year-round, with one submission per household, and eligibility is based on Statistics Canada low-income thresholds.
If approved, the remaining membership balance must be paid to activate the pass, with monthly payments required to maintain access. Fees may be prorated if starting mid-month, and payments are made in person at the Orillia Recreation Centre.
Subsidized All-Access Day Passes for Social Service Agencies
This stream is available to eligible social service agencies supporting low-income individuals and families in the community. Approved agencies may purchase subsidized All-Access Day Passes, which must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.
Agencies may request a maximum of 50 day passes per request, and a minimum of 14 business days must pass between requests. All payments are made in person at the Orillia Recreation Centre customer service desk.

In order to maintain standards and expectations for patron’s utilizing the programs and services offered in the Fitness Centre are asked to adhere by the guidelines outlined below:
- Patrons must wear clean, non-marking indoor toe-covered athletic footwear while in the fitness centre. Outdoor footwear (e.g. boots, sandals, and crocs) are not permitted.
- Workout attire (shirts and bottoms) must be worn at all times. The City of Orillia reserves the right to determine proper workout attire.
- Patrons shall wipe down equipment parts that they have come in contact with using a sanitary cloth between uses.
- During busy times, cardio equipment use is restricted to 30-minute intervals.
- Patrons must be respectful of others while using the Fitness Centre. No swearing, playing music, or shouting.

The City strives to be a model for healthy living by ensuring residents and Health Care Providers have access to a variety of health and wellness opportunities. The City recognizes the demand for training facilities available to Health Care Providers and therefore understand the need to make this facility available for rehabilitative and therapeutic training space.

Verified Health Care Provider Rules
- Health Care Providers and/or their business and their client must hold a valid membership or pay daily admission.
- Prohibited use of City of Orillia staff as personal assistants.
- No equipment storage available.
- Conducting rehabilitative services is only permitted during hours open to the public.
- Any associated costs for obtaining and maintaining credentials as it is the responsibility of the person and not the City of Orillia.
- Health Care Providers must display the appropriate identification during the therapeutic training session.
- One (1) client at a time permitted.
- Solicitation, unless arranged through paid City advertising procedures, is strictly prohibited (includes distribution of business cards, etc.)
- Providing advice or instruction on exercise to other City patrons is not permitted.
- Do not dominate equipment, apparatuses, or space. Equipment and space must be shared.
- Inspect and approve each apparatus as suitable before permitting a client to use the equipment.
- Health Care Providers are only permitted to use the facility for therapeutic or rehabilitative process under the scope of their governing body. Personal training or commercial training is prohibited.
- Understand that memberships between providers/professionals are not transferrable.
- Any exemptions or other registry that is not listed in this policy will have to be forwarded to the Division head or designate for approval.
- Health Care Providers are not a representative of the City and are not covered under the City of Orillia liability insurance.
- Visitors are required to follow all rules and regulations set out by the City of Orillia and usage of their facilities.
- Health Care Providers may have support staff present but must be directly supervised on-site and covered under professional liability insurance. All parties must hold an Orillia Recreation Centre membership or purchase a day-pass.
