Community Service Organization Designation

The City of Orillia supports eligible not-for-profit, volunteer-run Community Service Organizations (CSOs) that provide recreational, cultural, or community services to residents.

Community Service Organization Designation Policy
Open membership to all residents; must follow the Human Rights Code
Minimum 75% Orillia residents (excluding minor sport groups)
Not-for-profit and governed by a volunteer board
Demonstrate benefit to the Orillia community

Advertising Opportunities

Promote your business or organization in some of Orillia’s busiest recreation spaces. Advertising opportunities are available across digital screens, arena and facility spaces, and sports fields. Options vary by location and format, with a range of opportunities to suit different budgets and visibility goals. To get started, email advertising@orillia.ca.

Digital Advertising

Digital placements are available year-round under a one-year contract. Ads must be provided as a JPEG or a 15-second silent video in 1920 x 1080 format. Four media changes are included per calendar year, with the initial submission counting as one of the four. Available locations include the Rotary Place lobby, Orillia Recreation Centre elevators, the ORC aquatics board and the Gill Street Complex lobby.

Ice Advertising

Ice advertising is available from May 1 to April 30 at Rotary Place, Brian Orser Arena, and the Barnfield Point Recreation Centre. Opportunities include rink dashers, wall ads, and Zamboni wraps, with additional placements such as in-ice advertising and other specialty options available upon request. Specifications vary by placement type, and vector artwork is required for all graphics.

Field Advertising

Field advertising includes standard boards and multi-field placements. Boards measure 8 feet wide by 4 feet high and must be produced on half-inch exterior grade Crezon board. Advertising is available for single-field or multi-field placement, with additional options available upon request.
